This is without a doubt the best lineup of teams we have ever had coming to Boone, and I am thrilled we will be on national TV for 2 games. These were two huge reasons for supporting the move up to FBS. I still stand by my comments that the timing of some of the games will keep some fans away, but personally I can't wait to see us play this schedule.

I'm planning on being at all 6 home games and 2 maybe 3 road games.

I have season tickets and Thursday games are no problem. Can't wait!!! We have decided on at least two away games, the Clemson game and ODU game. I'm pumped over the edge. I Know, but it's a great feeling. Go App!!!
Welcome to the ranks of the retired. It's nice to make plans w/out regard to work.
Right there with you guys...retired in June , 2013. Got a great part-time job helping a friend of mine but that won't stop me from attending both Thursday games. Even if I was still working there would be plenty of time to make arrangements to be off. Nothing like retirement!
I'll be with you guys shortly...say, 2038? I hope the schedule is awesome then too!!!

Me too. We're definitely looking at Clemson and Georgia State.

Me three. ODU is about 3 hours away from Southern Maryland. I'm rounding up a few of my neighbors and making the trip. There should be around five of us at the game raising hell for the Apps.

Talked with a coworker who is Virginia Tech fan, he said 'you will just have to bite the bullet and accept those Thursday night games, that is what we did to get VT on TV and to the point they are now'. I am sure an ECU fan would have say the same.
I am delighted, this will give me two more chances to see my daughter and attend Clemson, Ga Tech, or UNC games with her(depends on where she is working next year).

I just submitted my vacation time to have long weekends for the Thurs. night games. It is unfortunate that we have TWO of them, but the national TV explosure will be good. Hopefully we are roling and the App Nation turns out in force! I am incredibly excited about this coming season!

Clemson should be our statement game this year.

A "reasonable" (albeit not guaranteed) indicator of performance against our competition could be assessed using the ESPN FPI. It predicted 3 of 4 of CFP semi-finalists and year of year is a better than average predictor of performance.

We should be the favorites against all opponents on our schedule except Clemson. Last year we made ULL and StAte statement games and it put us on the map with our Sun Belt mates. Therefore we need to take care of business for teams we should beat an then Clemson is our statement game this year. Beat them and we become national darlings.

I'm there for one or both of the Thursday games. It's not ideal, as I'd rather tailgate and make a weekend of it, but if you're lucky enough to live in one of the closer parts of NC (including Winston, Greensboro, Charlotte and maybe RDU), you can still do a half-day (or more) at work on Thursday and either white-knuckle it back Thursday night or start your weekend a little early.
