I was at App for the same tiem period as JS. Today will backpeddle and say that IMO he was the best. Despite the level of competition the man was a beast. Great point in that everyone knew he was getting the ball and it didn't matter. App ran the "I" back then and he was the only option. Everyone is the stadium knew he was going to get the ball and it just didn't matter.
KRich is a very close second and definitely the best pass catching RB I've seen at App.
Cox is pretty special too.
I'd put Settle ahead of Richardson as #1 and #2 that I have seen. That is just because Settle was the offense when he was there. Nobody was scared of Todd Payton beating them with his arm. #3 right now, for me, is probably Damon Scott, but Cox will definitely be somewhere in the top 3 by the end of his career if he continues to play as he has so far.bigdaddyg wrote:Would Settle be considered as a top 3 back all time for for App?
