Bronson was on the two deep behind Norwood pre -season, but he's not on there now, he is still on active roster though.

Not to throw out nonsense but there was an incident outside one of the trailer park bars. I don't who it was but I did hear it was a football player.

How about we just close this thread until something official is posted.

Re: Lost a Player to drunk and stupid
I've checked the district and superior court calendars and found zilch. In a county as small as Watauga, weekend charges would normally be posted by this time on a Monday afternoon. I second appdaze's motion. This thread needs to be nuked.appdaze wrote:How about we just close this thread until something official is posted.

Re: Lost a Player to drunk and stupid
The 2-deep released two days ago didn't have him listed so if this happened over the last two nights then the 2-deep isn't a good reference. Not saying it isn't him, but we may need something more concrete than that.sixtoes9134 wrote:Bronson was on the two deep behind Norwood pre -season, but he's not on there now, he is still on active roster though.
If it is Bronson then it isn't a terrible blow as he was out most of last year anyway. Hate to see anyone make this sort of mistake right before the season though.

Might be that no law was involved.
I've never dealt in speculation.
This is fact. And other have posted the details and they are correct.

Why didn't you just say who it was?Old Wideout wrote:Might be that no law was involved.

Better yet, just go away.

Even if it's true could we close this thread and open another with a more respectful title?

I haven't gone soft, but if our player is really hurt, by his fault or not, I think the title should be more sensitive. It's not edgy, it's rude given the subject matter and the context.Old Wideout wrote:Gonzo

Re: Lost a Player to drunk and stupid
Have to agree with Gonzo on this. First, this young man is a Mountaineer and a member of the family; and second, he's apparently suffered a rather serious injury. The original post is just lacking in sooo many ways. The MMB isn't a two-bit supermarket tabloid.Gonzo wrote:I haven't gone soft, but if our player is really hurt, by his fault or not, I think the title should be more sensitive. Godspeed to Tom Bronson.

I'm of the mind if you don't get drunk and start a fight with a bouncer, you avoid this.

I'm of the mind that you don't kick a member of the family while they're down. I think that's pretty old school.Old Wideout wrote:I'm of the mind if you don't get drunk and start a fight with a bouncer, you avoid this.

I'm sure Tom's parents and siblings are greatly comforted by your caring comments.Old Wideout wrote:I'm of the mind if you don't get drunk and start a fight with a bouncer, you avoid this.
