The wife and I have ours reserved for each game. Fortunately we do not have other commitments, so we will be taking in all the bowl festivities. GO........FIGHT..........KICK @$&

On the 19th, somewhere between 1 and 4 of us will be there.

The 23rd's a non-starter. We've got a toddler and a newborn, so family is coming to us this Christmas and there's no way we can be trying to come back from out of town on Christmas Eve. Same goes for the 26th if the fates conspire to send the Mountaineers to Dallas.

I will likely attend wherever App plays but admit the 23rd is not my first choice.

2 of us have reserved hotels and tickets for all 3 Dec.19th bowls, but cannot make the 23rd. I know of 3 more in the same boat.

If we end up in a non-Sun Belt tie-in, it'll depend on the date. I'm putting hard earned Sky Miles to good use, and will fly anywhere as long as the date fits with family obligations for Christmas.

We've got 2 going no matter which bowl we go to. No way we're going to miss the first bowl for the Apps.

I check the espn bowl projections every week. Noticed that one of the writers had App playing in the Zaxbys Dallas Bowl on Dec. 26. That bowl is supposed to be Conference USA vs. Big 12 school. So help me here... is that a mistake or is this a possible scenario???

If there aren't enough eligible Big 12 schools to fill the spot, the bowl pulls in an at large team. The top of the Big 12 is great this year, but they'll likely only have maybe 6 eligible teams.

We're planning on being wherever App plays a bowl.

If we played our first bowl game (in 60 years at least) on the moon, I would find a way to be there.

How many App fans go bowling?

As much as I would love to be there for our first FBS bowl game, I can't swing it financially or logistically. The only bowl game period I could make is the Detroit one.

I have a grandson due on December 18th so have no idea about attending. However I will still be buying tickets in the hopes that we can still somehow be there.

With ULL losing to NMSU and USA losing to GA St the SBC bowl landscape has been turned on its head. ULL has to beat App and Troy and USA needs to beat GS or App to get to 6 wins. The SBC could be looking at only three bowl eligible teams and no one goes to the Cure bowl.

If we beat ULL it is a slam dunk that Ark St goes to NO. That means App and GS go to the two AL bowls. We are starring the 23rd down if we win next Saturday.

We could always tank the USA game so they get to 6-6 (assuming they lose to Southern) and go to one of the AL games and we get Orlando.

(Thinking...)

THAT WAS A JOKE, PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER DOING THIS, APP.

I've got reservations for Orlando and Montgomery, don't know if NO is doable. Hoping for Orlando though.

All depends on when and where it is. Feel like Montgomery on the 19th would maximize our possible attendance. Not a bad drive for anyone, a Saturday afternoon so no one has to miss work. That's the game we would have the most at. Feel like we'd have a pretty showing at Orlando too. Now New Orleans.... that's a HAUL for most of us. I think I'd be able to be at that one but not sure. Mobile isn't bad location-wise but the 23rd is not a good date at all.

To answer the original question, I think regardless of which bowl we get into the attendance will be similar. 3-4k max at any of them. And that's fine, these low level bowl games are for TV first. We should do well enough in the ratings.

I know this isn't the popular opinion, but this is our reality now. We could go 10-2 and play in a bowl game that has 4000 app fans there.
