Jaquil Capel could completely change our field position from the kick returner position and should get lots of looks at WR.

Just because I was looking for #55 on our team due to today being 55 in the COUNTDOWN, I looked up Matt Williams. Dang, he has grown since signing with us in the winter. Now at 6'6 and 280 lbs. Don't know how much impact a true freshman OL can make (and we will likely shirt him anyway) but chose Appalachian State over Louisville, Indiana, Iowa State, Marshall, Western Kentucky, USF and Tulane. Those are some quality schools to beat out for this young man. Go App !

Coach Satterfield mentioned last year that Alanmichael will not ever play football again, so I wouldn't expect him back on the field. Of course, App State will honor his scholarship so long as he stays in good standing academically.EastHallApp wrote:Haven't heard an update recently, but last I heard Harkness' neck injury was expected to be career-ending. He's still on the roster, though, so I assume he's still holding out hope for a comeback.mountaineerman wrote:I'm going with Alanmicheal Harkness . Ronald is a big hole to fill on d-line we need him to step up .

Ryan Neuzil. He's a true freshman but the coaches mentioned how they wanted to see him at center. Center is a position in which you can become a 4 year starter. It is also a position in which we have a need at.
