First read, I thought the mistake was this was sent out before the ODU game. The whole "looking past an opponent" thing and all...

I understand it is a big event and word needs to spread, but I am getting "Troy" vibes from last season... Really hoping I am wrong.

If this is the most we have to worry about with our Chancellor then she'll be alright. But I see the witch hunt is well underway.

The witch hunt started the second she said "Appa-lay-shun" during her first address to an Appalachian audience.

Oh my god! Someone from the Midwest pronouncing Appalachian, appa-lay-shun?!?! Send her to the quarters now! Get her pink slip ready!

I mean get over it, different people pronounce different words differently. Until she ACTUALLY screws up some of y'all need to get off the ladies back.

Different people can pronounce words differently, but there are specific guidelines issued by the school that clarify the correct pronunciation of the name of the school.

I don't care how she said it for the first 253 years of her lizard life, but as soon as she got the job here she should have learned its proper pronunciation.

Not a serious offense, just an easy one to jab the end of my corncob pipe at.
