That's a little disappointing, but I don't want to be like the Toledo fans a couple of years ago. I hope our guys have a big chip on their shoulder and we hang 70 on UAB.

I'm going to go ahead and say this now. We need to hang as much as we can on them and not just win. A 7-10 point win does no good. You are right about that because this helps us for next year. We need to finish 13-1 and ranked in the teens. This will help for preseason ranking next year. If we can start the year ranked in the top 25, which we should if we win big against UAB, then we control our own destiny.

I really don’t think we start the year ranked. It would be cool but I doubt that happens. I think we will have beat Wake to be ranked. Lots goes into preseason rankings ... coaching changes and the like.

With what App has returning, and assuming that the Drink to Mizzou stuff isn't real, App should be ranked starting out next year.

Personally, I'm excited for the Wake game, even though I'm almost certain tickets to that game will end up being more than when Clemson plays in Winston-Salem.
