There's some stuff happening behind the scenes that we don't see. I'll leave it at that. Clark hasn't lost the locker room or anything, but he may be learning quickly he's too much of a players coach.

Noel was not going to play today. He's still not 100%.

Also, players are not executing on game day what is executed in game planning. Ultimately, that's on coaching but not entirely. Player leaders need to step up and make the rest realize what it takes. Its not just practice. It's living and breathing App State football. We have some guys that aren't doing that right now.

This game and the JMU game are now in the top two worst moments during my time of watching this team. We were outexecuted and outcoached. We didn't even look like we got off the bus. How much more of this "It's on me" and coach speak do we need to hear? Defense can't stop anybody. No pressure on the QB. Vanilla playcalling. Stupid and undisciplined penalties. I'm sick of coach speak. A lot of "Why's" need to be answered. I'm not entirely sold on Clark as a head coach. We are the Alabama of the G5. We expect to win and to win consistently. There should be no excuse for a rebuilding year, considering the seniority we have on the team. I remember a day we used to dominate people. Teams did not want to play us. How the mighty have fallen.

I agree with you. Some stuff posted the last 2 days about various aspects of the team, 2 losses and coaching staff has been over the top but I don't recall anything really negative towards Cam. Nobody questioned his heart or desire. Folks have just wondered what is wrong with him.

You and other's on here can continue to put lipstick on the pig all you want, but the blown 28-3 lead to JMU, ass beating by Texas State, I repeat Texas State, 63 points allowed at home, needing a miracle to beat Troy speaks more to the realization of the situation. As has been mentioned on here before that is very difficult to do since he is dating the daughter of a booster that is so important that he stands on the sideline at every single game, both on the road and home. I literally saw her father standing on the sideline at least a dozen times on TV in this loss. Of course he has enough money if he really loves App he would pay him 150k to sit home and not be our DC but you know that won't happen. lol

What is the speculation? It is a fact that Dale Jones is in a relationship with Tommy Sofield's daughter. Tommy is a big money booster who is on our sideline every single game, has direct access to Clark, Gillin, and anyone else he wants in our program. For those who want Dale Jones gone this is not as simple as just getting rid of Dale without expecting major blow back.

Does this booster want more L’s because it’s clearly coming. We look awful defensively, can’t stop a nose bleed. Keep him around but he doesn’t need to lead the defense.

I would suspect Gillin will let the season play out here so let's see what happens. If we fix the issues this month and have a good November then people will let this all go. If not and we go 6-6 or worse, then we could be looking at major changes. I know some say Shawn won't go no matter what after this year but I don't see how Shawn could keep his job if we don't make a bowl game. If we just lose one more then you can't be too mad because that is what some expected but 6-6 or worse is not something anyone thought could happen. This staff and locker room has a chance to turn things around and still win the conference. I just hope they don't blow this and lose out on a bowl game all together.

Well on the the bright side 2 of us didn't lose. AppSt94 and I took the money line last night and WON. Even took the points and cashed in.
