I'm not a "fire SC" guy, and I was very slow to criticize, but when you're the coach the first time App lost a bowl game, lost to Texas State, missed bowl season entirely, had the worst record since App moved up to FBS, failed to have a 1,000 yard rusher for the first time in over a decade, AND you lost to Stink.... you're rear shouldn't be very comfortable. Next season is show out or go home. There won't be any credible excuses.

I agree, mostly. All of those things are true. I suspect we will be having this same discussion next year this time. Under the circumstances, with the coach changes, If things don’t improve, we will argue about another year. I’ve said before, I’m pulling for Shawn. There are too many reasons I want him to succeed but in reality except for an inexplicable win over TAMU I have seen nothing but steady regression in the program. I pray the changes work.

NO....the other fan is a Yosef Club Football Season Ticket holder like myself. Not only did I graduate from App but will soon have 4 kids who also graduated from App along with a son-in-law App state grad. I bleed the black and gold like most of you, making the 2 1/2 hour commute up to attend even the weeknight games and re-watching most of the games on tv a day or two afterwards. My question was a serious question, out of concern. Would I want to go to work for a manager who I knew was on the hot seat. Yes, Shawn is on the hot seat next year, I think most of us acknowledge that. I'm pulling for the guy, he's one of us but I am concerned.

I read in one article that some are staying for bowl. I’d say they’re likely to follow Scott after that. Strange situation though, since they’re going up against their future employer.

Some timelines for some of the familiar faces and names getting thrown around on the message boards (Not that it means anything )

Ivey & Gasparato both appear to be coaching in the bowl game. Luckily for Coach Satt, or hopefully us, Louisville has one of the earlier bowl games on December 17.

Also, have seen Scot Sloan’s name tossed around on the boards. Although, not sure how likely this one is either. As Co-DC at Army, he appears to the be the guy to take over for Woody when he hangs it up. Army plays their last game tomorrow against Navy.

Personally would love to have Gas and Ivey back, but not sure how realistic that is. Either way, we should know soon.
