If i recall correctly, Apps D came out thinking Charlotte would start one QB and they started another. So it looked like we planned for the wrong game. That would not be a problem this year. Theres plenty of game film on their offense this time.

Yup. That was due to the defensive game plan changing on Thursday and players being confused. Jones will be running the "old" scheme with a few wrinkles. I fully expect a lot of disguised pressure. It's just a matter of if the young guys have caught on yet. This scheme is more dependent on everyone doing their job than most.

If I remember it take a couple series for Jones defense to get in the groove.

I oddly feel more comfortable with debastiani in the booth. He has a solid history calling plays, albeit at smaller schools.
