I truly dislike Ga. Southern. One of the great things about the lower amount of fans in the stands is catching some of the talk among the players from time to time on audio. Unfortunately you could also hear the spawn of the Stink fans chanting Boo Crap State. Classic! Made me laugh. Hope little Jim Bob and Maggie Lou enjoy riding home with Pappy and watching a grown man cry.

I know some would have liked to see us go for the jugular, but Shawn Clark called a good 4th Quarter. Up 11, he ran clock and the pooch punt pinned them. After the great long pass to Virgil, he ran clock again and kicked the FG (thankfully, we executed).
Outside of the poor coverage on the slant, he put it in the players hands and the players executed.

Drink ran the same type of 4th Quarters last year, and even though they made the games closer than we would like, they resulted in W's.

We really came out of the locker room in the 2nd Half and executed outside of the fumble by Malik and the TD pass.

We even brought the all out blitz against them on 3rd down and forced an incompletion. Georgia Southern was 2 for 10 on third down. That's how you stop the Triple Option

Heard the announcers mention what I had not considered on our losses. The opponents in our 3 losses are 26-2. Puts that in a little easier to swallow pill bitter as it is.

Great win, 8 win regular season...I'll take it with how 2020 has played put. Possible 9-3 season if we make it to a bowl.

Normally I would agree with you if two of those three were P5 teams. We lost two in conference games that we should win given offensive talent back. Not bashing the program.. Just my opinion given the offense was supposed to strength and defense was a little bit of question mark. Our offense was actually a liability against the good teams. Hope offense figures it out between now and September 2021

I think we underachieved. The first half tonight was a microcosm of what the season has been , the second half was what I expected it to be. I’ll enjoy the win and am looking forward to Wednesday but I think we left a lot of money on the table.
