Why did you tackle the guy before the clock ran out. Just dumb
Player awareness . I guess you guys never played football before .
Because you tackle the man with the ball when you can tackle the man with the ball. If you don’t, there’s a chance they get more than a long FG opportunity.
Bahahahaha, you think the D player has an eye on the clock in the middle of a play
Bahahahaha... bahahahaha
Coach- ok guys if they run let the guy go and tackle him inside the 10! Got it Coach!

Bhahha a smart player would . We lack those.

You expect them to keep one eye on the ball carrier and the other on the clock, yet you can’t work the quote function.

3rd and 13, wide open TD.
That’ll do it.

Whats frustrating is when App was a good team the "bad" Sun Belt teams we beat didn't leave our WRs wide open like this...

After the last ~25 years of wild success it’s brutal to watch us just fade into becoming another Arkansas State

Any QB has to love seeing a 3 man front with no blitzes. After 5 seconds or more receivers will get open

Too much air under passes gets receivers hurt.

No blocking on offense and no pass rush. We could get beat bad. That first series of the second half : terrible blocking. Poor punt , pathetic coverage with missed tackles. Then ODU simply passes right down the field. No one came close to touching Joseph the whole drive. We are still playing fbs football with fcs talent.

G5 level you have to have a mobile QB. We do not have the Oline to have success with a pro style QB.

I was thinking something similar. The Xs and Os seem decent, but App just doesn’t have the dudes this year. When the o-line is getting blown up every play and the defense can’t tackle, you’re going to have a bad time. It’ll be interesting to see what this coaching staff does next year with returning production and a full recruiting period.

At least they didn't get a td on that play this time, just a first down.

I guess now we are seeing why so many of these players were in the transfer portal. They weren’t starter material where they were and still cant cut it. After all the hype over nfl experience in the coaching staff, i guess we are also seeing why these guys are no longer in the nfl.

That was a big 3rd down stop. Actually got some pressure and when the QB tried to run we got him. Forces a punt.

I love my school, but this is so painful to watch... I may have to take a break. I can deal with strong effort and occasionally bad execution, but we are so inconsistent. Also, I'm gonna play my old man card, why do players have to celebrate every play now? Get a hold on 3 and short, certainly. Break up a touchdown, go for it. But just making a normal tackle? You aren't that special son, that's your job. Stay focused the entire time on the field, not just a single play. I'll go back to screaming at the sky now.
