Re: Board of trustees
Had a friend just point out a flight to Hkry from State College on Friday. Anyone know if someone on the Penn State staff would be shopping?

Re: Board of trustees
I had an IP address banned from editing Wilkipedia years ago because I edited it to say the Milwaukee Brewers announced they were moving to Louisville and changing their name to the Kentucky Distillers. It was up there for maybe an hour before it got fixed and I got banned.ComebackShack wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:52 amSomeone on this board had a little fun on his Wiki page![]()

Re: Board of trustees
If it is indeed Gattis, he could be bringing in some old Penn State friends as Coordinators?

Pepsi is for people that call it "pop".NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:44 amMore importantly, BoJangles or Popeye's?appstatealum wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:22 amIf Gattis only drinks Pepsi products, I would begin to doubt his decision making. An SEC fan would call pretending to be a Gattis Assistant and requesting info on what refreshments will be available on the flight because Gattis only drinks Pepsi products (a true Mountaineer at heart)
Bojangles over Popeye's any day. More variety on the menu, larger biscuits, Bo-Rounds, the list goes on. I must say though, the ones in Northern Virginia are crap compared to the ones in North Carolina.

Well, Bojangles without hesitation. However, I am concerned by their recent buy out to Durational and Jordan Co, which is a New York Based firm. What do New Yorkers know about southern fried chicken and sweet tea?NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:44 amMore importantly, BoJangles or Popeye's?appstatealum wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:22 amIf Gattis only drinks Pepsi products, I would begin to doubt his decision making. I don’t mind the occasional spicy chicken from Popeyes, but I never choose it over Bojangles.

Re: Board of trustees
For any Clemmonites on this board, the tough choice growing up was ALWAYS Biscuitville or Bojangles on Lewisville-Clemmons for breakfast./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 11:27 amNever been, but that online menu has me ready to drive to Lynchburg and try it out.

Truthfully, you can never go wrong with Brooks Sandwich House in Charlotte. Best burger, best people, best livermush sandwich. Did I mention the best burger?

Biscuitville stole me away from Bojangles. Yeah, I said it.
I also like Chick Fil A chicken biscuits. Come at me.
But the pork tenderloin biscuit at Country BBQ in Greensboro might be my all-star.

Rise and Shine in Denver Colorado. I like the Goldsboro and of course the Boone biscuit. Yes we have an NC themed biscuit joint in the Rockies. https://riseandshinedenver.com/rs-penn-menu.html

Chick-fil-A will never be a wrong answer, EVER. It shall be the fast food chain of Heaven.appchicago wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 11:37 amBiscuitville stole me away from Bojangles. Yeah, I said it.

Re: Board of trustees
Ha! I'm not saying CFA isn't good...it is. I also appreciate the core values and the friendly, and generally, intelligent staff. But it's WAY overpriced and WAY overhyped. Some would say I'm a bit of a "brand-whore" but even to me, CFA is wayyyyyy down the list when placed on the "cost vs value" scale. Throw in the insane drive-thru lines and the only time I really ever eat CFA is when I have a gift card or someone else is buying. Of course, I'm also not a foodie, so there is that.appstatealum wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 11:42 amChick-fil-A will never be a wrong answer, EVER.
