We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I love this hire. Drink is not playing around; he is not going to let this program stagnate. He is here to win!

This is an amazing hire on paper. Should be some serious QB play over the next few years (even higher than previously seen).

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
For the money we have allocated to assistants to pull this off Drink did a heck of sells job. You're talking about a National Championship QB(on one of the greatest CFB teams ever), NFL QB, and Cams QB coach for his MVP season. We got him for pennies on the dollar.

Zac, Huesman and Derrick just got a NFL caliber Coach. Now need to get a solid QB recruit for this cycle. Looks like a great hire! We will be throwing the ball all over the field next year!

Any chance we get a Justin Stepp return?

Our WRs, QBs and RBs may be a little excited with Coach D’s hires on the offensive side of the ball.

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
There are quite a few back stories here...to me, with these hires and their cumulative track record, the question becomes:
Is Zac Thomas, if he remains healthy, the 1st App State QB ever drafted ??
(AS QB)

I remember just short of 3 weeks ago feeling like my insides had been ripped out. Now I’m like “Scott who”? Amazing what the right hire can do for your short term memory! 2019 will be THE year for App State football. This will be fun to watch!! I can’t wait.

LOVE THIS HIRE! I'll bet Dorsey's got contacts throughout both Florida and Georgia...prime recruiting ground. It feels like Drink's setting the stage for launching us to the next level. The waif for the DC is killing me but it's clear he's doing things exactly the way he said he would...quickly but not rushed. My excitement is growing!!

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
This may point to our winning culture and recognizing that being within the App State coaching tree is a good thing. $$ can come later... Satt has proven a direct jump to the big bucks is possible from Boone.NavyApp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 11:43 amFor the money we have allocated to assistants to pull this off Drink did a heck of sells job. It’s in our best interests that Satt and the gang tear it up at UL...I think they will!

Seeing reports that we won’t announce the DC until after their bowl game. Bet it leaks soon tho.

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
My post above confirms it won’t be Woody since they almost certainly would announce him and get him on staff ASAP as their game is meaningless. Leads me to believe it’s a pretty big bowl game that our DC is playing in. They’d bring Roof immediately too as he isn’t too important to NC States defense and they haven’t had any turnover there.

I only remember a guy named Eli.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 12:02 pmYou mean the former coach?Apple@chin1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 11:56 amI remember just short of 3 weeks ago feeling like my insides had been ripped out.
