Call it what it is...swimming in a retention pond is never a good idea.

Makes me think of Jerry's girlfriend in an epsiode of Seinfeld who caught the STD from a "tractor" according to her boyfriend.

We only hand this to them if true, and I still don't buy it. This sounds like the telephone game, a la, the injuries of the field rush.

I'm convinced the people who jump in are not quite all there mentally. I would never jump in the pond. lol

Give the GameDay crew credit for breaking down everything as soon as it ended, and cleaning up the place. And doing it safely without running over everybody.

Maybe ole Marty really got around early in the week and contaminated the waters.

The Russian Army could use that “get out of town” expertise.

Back in the day, the only time someone found themselves in the Duck Pond was if they gave their girlfriend a lavalier or their frat pin...and their fraternity brothers commemorated the occasion by tossing them in...regardless of season/weather.

I'm not sure which thread this fits so I'll post it here. A source very close to me said that several folks who made the pond plunge have contacted chlamydia (sp). Ouch

Can I file this with all the traumatic brain, spinal, and dismembered limb injuries from Saturday's field rush?
There was a compound leg fracture but other than that no back or brain injuries.

IATSE union crew does that and they work efficiently and they take safety to heart based on every thing I know about this union. I think I talked to one of the foreman as they had an IATSE label on their shirt pocket and I thanked them for being union and mentioned it was nice to see a union label in Boone.

A pond is not a hotpool or hot tub, but that was what I was looking up when I suggested this was a false narrative. I would never suggest it was not possible, but certainly the odds are infinitesimal. If someone had an open cut and jumped in near someone that had the disease and was so excited to ejaculate at that very moment, maybe in some freak chance, but I would vote a thousand times over that App finishes a national champs in football and basketball and maybe even baseball in the same year before transmission like that were to happen.

Next time they visit we should ask for a cut of the increased ad revenue. ;)

2.8 Million is about .8 of every 100 people in the US if I did the math correctly. I should not count the folks in the Statesboro TV market as I doubt they have enough sense to work electrical devices. (rim shot)

There may have been a few Lowe's executives with heartburn on Saturday morning.

And they were in our back door until a few years ago and did little to nothing for us from what I know. They could have been on the ground floor of this ride. Instead they ignore us, and move near UNCC. F' em.

Geez....

If anyone has anything they have:

Cholera is commonly found in humanitarian emergencies or marginalized villages where poverty and poor sanitation are rampant. The disease is spread through contaminated water and causes severe dehydration and diarrhea. Cholera can be fatal within days or even hours of exposure to the bacteria, but only 1 in 10 people will develop life-threatening symptoms.

Symptoms include:

Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Muscle cramps
