Much depends on where they fall in the season, the weather, and our performance to date. Let's not also forget that we had two midweek games in 2015. That could happen again.

Did we have any midweek games while we were in FCS? All I recall was a Friday night game.

The fact that we were FCS answers that question.

I haven't seen any changes. I'm looking forward to my first year at Black And Gold or AD level.
@JakeASU, thanks for being Yosef!

I've not heard of changes yet but wouldn't be surprised to see a few. The long term goals seem to be aimed at creating a vibrant booster club with both broad base and high-level donors. Sustainable development is key.

We need every donor - whether they're a $100 or $10,000,000 donor. The annual donors are the foundation for sustained growth. The corporate sponsors bring dollars beyond what individual donors can manage. Capital campaigns provide needed dollars for facilities from individuals and organizations that can commit significant dollars over a short period of time.

Thanks to all of you who will be part of this year's annual Yosef giving. Remember, you can spread your giving out over the year. I find it much easier to give my Yosef donations in installments. I doubt I'd ever give as much if I had to write one check.

Y'all keep the Yosef questions coming. I'm happy to provide answers if I know them.

Only thing that can effect those attendance numbers would be mid week games, just have to see how it shakes out but I am hoping we don't have any this year.
We will certainly have at least one midweek game. Those go disproportionately to the projected best teams, and that's us.

I'm also not sure Coastal or ULL are "sure thing sellouts" even on a Saturday, unless you're referring to the official 24,000-whatever capacity figure that we all know doesn't mean anything.
I wonder how many Coastal alumni are in NC? Like maybe the Charlotte area? If so, there may be some excitement among their fans due to the move up to FBS and their national baseball championship last year. So, maybe they bring some people? Also, the mid-week home games are tough to get to but it's great national exposure for the program.

I am thinking of going back to the Chancellor level this year if I can still get a numbered spot in Greenwood. I got bumped from Library once this year because it was full. Almost two times but a friend took their tail gate stuff down and let me have that extra space they were occupying. BTW lots of people were occupying multiple spots and just watched me backing out because there were no available spots. No big deal but just would rather not have the hassle.

With people's stock portfolios trending up, don't forget that donating appreciated stock is a good way to avoid capital gains tax while getting the tax benefit.

One of the few drawback of moving up.

Sorry for the parking hassle. Hopefully, there will be more oversight in the festival parking areas in the future. Yours is not the only bad experience I've heard of.

Greenwood is great tailgating, too.

Go Mountaineers! My family, after having many medical costs for my son (a blessing indeed!), was just getting in a decent financial position to hopefully provide for yosef giving and season tickets. Then the unbelievable happened. Yep I'm down to one income. I am still going to be at several games.

Saint, Daphne, know you two are well connected on this board. IMO we need a whole, BIG campaign of ways of In Kind giving. Yosef just does not do enough of this. we have to make it happen. any ways to help?

There seems to be a strong effort at communicating through emails / social media which makes great sense. We've already made strides in the "clickableness" of the emails. Hopefully, we'll see advances in content, too.

I really like the idea of a piece on ways to give and will pass that idea along. Thanks for the input!

Daphne we should add a link to the gift in kind form for a few brokers as for many it may be their first time giving in that manner.

A stronger webpage for Yosef Club giving is overdue. I know we discussed the idea when I was President and that was, gulp, that was four years ago.

The Yosef website is long overdue for improvement. I think some of the issues reamain that we use Neulion for ticketing and Banner for the university as a whole. The interface between the two is cumbersome at best. I will, as I have for what seems like eons, continue to advocate for easier, better access to ways to give, giving records, etc. We must make giving easy if we expect to see significant increases in giving.

This is a general statement not in reference to this particular conversation. It has always amazed me that a university would not have a class A website. The same is true of marketing efforts. How can you have a Business School and not have excellent marketing efforts. My own view is that it reflects very poorly to the outside world on our abilities.

We could have the marketing and IT department run a webpage and it be an upgrade.

What's a sell out for Ull, Coastal and Stink ? Is it the 30,000 plus we used to pack in at times in the FCS days or just the stadium seats full? No doubt the Wake game will be an SRO, but the other three are doubtful in my opinion.
A sellout is exactly what it says it is, a sell out. As in all the seats available are sold. Never said standing room only, I said sell out, didn't realize it was so confusing.
