I can see us dropping significantly in attendance if Cobb botches the FBS move, regardless of record.
Stay in the FCS and shrivel and die.

What a school which draws 3,900 fans is doing in FBS is beyond me.

What effect do you think increased ticket prices will have?appst89 wrote:Here's my take on attendance in FBS:
We will have some games where the attendance is through the roof; if we can get Wake or Duke or ECU or maybe a Mississippi St. type $EC program to Boone, we will see as many as the stadium can hold.
We will maintain our current level of attendance against other opponents for a few years as long as we are playing on Saturday. With our fanbase being as widely dispersed as it is, we will see tremendous dropoff if we play a Tuesday or Wednesday game. We won't get more than 15,000-17,000 for those games, if we are lucky. If we start consistently losing, in FBS or FCS, we will see a significant dropoff in attendance.

Not significant if we are winning. Better opponents will likely offset higher prices. If we start losing, the effect of higher prices will likely be greater.appbio91 wrote:What effect do you think increased ticket prices will have?appst89 wrote:Here's my take on attendance in FBS:

Has nothing to do with FBS/FCS if we were NFL .500 for ant time more than 2 year would make attendance fall. Don't need a crystal ball just look at history.Saint3333 wrote:bcoach while your predicting the future, can you tell us what the FCS will look like in 10 years? If your crystal ball is like mine you'll understand why a move is necessary.

They have a company over there that buys enough tickets to keep them FBS eligable. That is very sad.JCline0429 wrote:
