I'm not sure how to post a tweet but it is on Twitter (and distributed elsewhere). The new AppState logo in one endzone with Mountaineers in the other. Black block A in the middle. Looks great. No yellow player boxes either.

You can't make everyone happy. I think it looks good and I knew they would use the font we had back at the NO Bowl. I like that it shows what the final shape of the track will look like too.NashvilleNeer wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 5:23 pmIt looks tacky.

I think it looks great personally. The two color AppState is the logo that has been promoted since we officially re-branded ourselves for in preparation for the SunBelt (which already had an ASU). I like it. It's simple and allows for the words to be continuous (no space) while emphasizing the individual components. That's just me though.

Re: Turf Replacement Pics

I prefer the old endzones that actually say Appalachian and the white A at midfield. Because that’s what I’ve grown up with and been there forever minus the years with the awful looking field.
HOWEVER, when you take everything combined it’s a massive upgrade. Slightly modernized field design, no more enormous pink track, new large field house with seating and closer to the endzone. New regraded hill much closer to the endzone and a large flat plaza type area at the top of it. All those combined looks incredible compared to what we had.

Love it! I'm old school (class of '83) but love the new logo and love the traditional "Mountaineers" in the other too. A bit of both worlds...if you're not moving forward you're moving backwards...well done!

Re: Turf Replacement Pics
My only complaint would be the north endzone having the extra space on each side of the lettering, while "Mountaineers" covers the entire endzone. Doesn't look symmetrically appealing, at least not for me.

I love it! I'd like the yosef logo in the "AppState" end zone, but I like it nonetheless.

Re: Turf Replacement Pics
I'm not suggesting having 'Neers in the endzone, ya boomer, but i don't think having a multicolored and one word App State in the endzone looks good either. Keep it simple with App State in yellow, otherwise it looks very minor league to me. whatever, i'll live, but i'm not going to just jump up and down for everything we do just because. Ask an outsider and i'm sure they'll agree.

Love the look. Just looking at the layout. KBS is going to look very different in the next 10 years. Something in my gut tells me the the stands are the next items on the docket.
