That is a moot point for this thread. If we don't beat the 2 P5 AND win the SBC title we don't go to a NY6 bowl. It's pointless to choose which games we'd rather win.

Not necessarily correct. The berth goes to the highest ranked G5 conference champs.

My point is we have done both, finished 13-1. Again what I'm saying is until the SBC does something about the bowl tie-ins we aren't going anywhere of importance. The SBC is not given the respect they deserve. Look at ULL this year. 13 game winning streak, conf champs and they get a slightly above average Marshall team

Who? Unless we’re talking b-ball, I’d much rather beat a Jimbo led A&M who actually has clout in the CFB world. Hell, it’s been over 40 years since them hills have won an ACC football championship.

Rings! It’s what the program preaches to recruits and giving them the opportunity is what the program should strive for year in and year out. Plus I’d like to see Clark win one as HC and get the growing monkey off his back.

After all the years of waiting and all the speculation on how meaningful a win over UNC would be, how many times this year did you hear an announcer say "this is the team that beat UNC and South Carolina both in 2019." Outside of our state, it really didn't buy us much. Oh, don't get me wrong....I absolutely LOVED those wins! Just saying I think we obsess a little too much.

You are right you didn't. You did consistently hear about our conference titles and bowl wins. I hate unc as much as I have ever hated anything. In fact so much I don't really even want to play them. BUT That game will be forgotten before the season is over. Conference titles last forever.
