In Texas, it has to be Shiner Bock. If anyone has any spare time, Waco is a pretty cool city. The Dr. Pepper museum is down town and the Texas Ranger Museum is a great place to spend a few hours, right next to the Baylor Stadium (which looks like the Emerald City at night).

Make sure you crank up the Robert Earl Keen and there's always Schlitterbahn, if the heat gets hot to handle.

The LBJ museum is in Austin (right next to DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium) if you want to knock out a second Presidential Library. There is really a ton of things to do with 100 miles of College Station.
