No doubt. In 4th quarter the 12th man was App fans.TractorApp wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 3:10 pmMy best friend and I were there. Some observations
1. Some of the friendliest people I have ever met both before and after the game.
2. Stadium set up was incredibly good.
3. App fans definitely won the cheering battle in the stands. We put the 12th man to shame.

The Yell Leaders name was Zach....we sat on the second row right in front of him and he never looked at nor acknowledge us once. Wish I had seen the video prior to the game. No matter what, we had a really classy group of A&M folks around us.

I was there and it was all fun. Three stories about App State, some being lame. It was a lot of fun and our group was told we had THE MOST FANS THERE OF ANY TEAM ever. They have seen a few fans from Clemson and Bama, but nothing like us. There wasn't anything wrong with what they did or said. If they would have won the game, this probably wouldn't be an issue. I did tell one of the team leaders to tell a story next week how Miami had to get some of their players out of jail to play. LOLOLOL

Re: TAMU Yell Practice
The reason this is getting big is because of the Streisand Effect. aTm tried to DMCA it off a Barstool Twitter account (the video comes from the university's public broadcasting org) and boy that didn't work. So every Stoole affiliated Twitter (hundreds of them) plus the Stoolies, who are loyal mutants, started posting the video clips. Add on people who either knew about Midnight Yell Practice and how weird it was or those who were completely unaware piling on because "lol you lost to App State ala Michigan" and you have classic Streisand Effect. And this it's getting picked up by more traditional media outlets. Add on defensive Aggies and it just doesn't end even several days later
This is something that should be taught in PR classes in what not to do. Never turn a one day story into a one week story.
