Certainly.
In my view they are a core of the problem with money in sports. But one has to give them credit for a business model that has almost every cable subscriber paying a few dollars a month to their channels, even for many that do not give one whit for any sports, and they do exist.
If App has a winning FB record going into September I might keep cable around for a bit more, but I think I am about ready to cut the cable cord myself. The Walking Dead is the only TV show I have enjoyed over the last few years that was on Cable. ESPN is nice but I don't watch that much sports on TV, though losing App football would be a drag.
