I had to add a couple more fans to my party, so I first tried to purchase tickets over the phone, waited for about 10 minutes before a had to hang up. I went online and was able to buy the tickets. Most of the stadium sections have ample vacant seats to choose from. From this experience it seems to me that buying tickets is very cumbersome and may even discourage some folks. App needs to do a lot better! 25,000.

Just did a quick once over of the sections that still have tickets for sale and came up with about 2385 seats available for Saturday. Of course , this does not include the bank . So, thus far, it looks like crowd will be pretty decent if not a total downpour.

And the students will be out in force (for the first half, that is) for a night game.

It will likely be hard to get a beer at tApp Room by the 4th quarter though. Especially with pouring rain and a lopsided score.

80% chance of rain means low numbers...could be 19,000

All I can say is that the ticket office is offering specials and giving away tickets to military folks. I looks like they have plenty left.

I'm thinking an announced crowd along the lines of 24,050 is in line, though butts in the seats (at least for the first half) will be closer to 19,500.

Officially just shy of 25k in the face of rain storms. Not a person less at the beginning.

After the lighting evacuation it was <5k.

Good work, all things considered. Biggest blow out in years.

It wasn't the loudest or most boisterous crowd but all things considered I was pleasantly surprised. Good night, APPS!

Thank goodness for the bank because the East Side wasn't full by any stretch.

So much for the doom and gloom crowd. Under the circumstances it was a good crowd.

THANK YOU students, you really showed well.

As we were going to our seats in 204, there was a large number of people heading out. We asked someone what was going on. We thought the weather was forcing an evacuation, but someone said the student section was full and they were forcing those people to go to the East side.

If that was the case, then good job students!
