Re: Possible transfer situations
I know we like to think we are "THE" g5 team but these other schools are doing some good things. I was surprised how many students were engaged in the Coastal game. JMU came out blazing. We are going to have a harder time keeping up with this sunbelt lineup than the southern conference line up. These are very prideful teams/schools. It will be tougher to win year in year out than ever before. Georgia Southern went through it and we are going through it now. I don't like it but 7-5 seasons may end up being good years if we keep signing up 3 tough ooc games and I hope we do. I don't want to be a 10-2 team playing no one. It will be interesting if we can get out of this mess in 1 off season.

Re: Possible transfer situations
I think with the CFP going to 12 teams and the top six conferences getting automatically and helps tremendously with scheduling going forward. As long as the Sun Belt can maintain being a strong conference, the future is bright.spacemonkey wrote: ↑Tue Dec 20, 2022 5:03 pmI know we like to think we are "THE" g5 team but these other schools are doing some good things. I don’t think you’ll have to schedule those crazy tough P5 games. You might be able to get marquee matchups with the other G5 conferences now and the better teams that go along with it.

An interesting thing to keep an eye on. McCall hasn’t been picked up yet, and spots are filling up. I’m seeing talk about grades issues and Auburn not having his major. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back in Conway.

Do not slight coloring books. Adult ones are very therapeutic.

Re: Possible transfer situations
I think McCall ends up at Florida or follows Chadwell to Liberty. Evidently he was scheduled to visit Auburn but as mentioned the major he is completing (Sports Management) was not offered at AU so he canceled. I think he goes to Florida but guess we shall see. I saw one of one of CCU's starting DE's transferred to Michigan too.

Re: Possible transfer situations
Auburn seems to be the front-runner for McCall at this point. He was scheduled to visit this past weekend according to 24/7 but did not for some reason. Liberty seems like a growing fallback option as well for him to pad his stats.311neers wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 11:47 amFla just got their qb transferQueencityApp wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 11:44 amI think McCall ends up at Florida or follows Chadwell to Liberty. They would work better for me if they got rid of those lines.AppWyo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 11:27 amDo not slight coloring books. Adult ones are very therapeutic.

Re: Possible transfer situations
I bought an adult coloring book one time. I was sorely disappointed.

Re: Possible transfer situations
Would be interesting to see what he could do in the SEC. I know a lot of folks don’t like him but if he does well in the SEC it elevates the G5.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 11:57 amAuburn seems to be the front-runner for McCall at this point. Off topic fwiw, I see where our QB buddy Maye at UNC was rumoured to be offered $5 million by 2 other schools.

Re: Possible transfer situations
I wonder how much he is earning at UNC. I am sure he just plays there for the love of the game right. I love how they are all of a sudden the victim considering their star bball players stuck around due to their NIL deals.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 2:22 pmOff topic fwiw, I see where our QB buddy Maye at UNC was rumoured to be offered $5 million by 2 other schools.

Re: Possible transfer situations
I seem to recall that his valuation at some point this season was around a million.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 3:04 pmI wonder how much he is earning at UNC.
