I don’t think that there is a concrete path to getting a medical waiver but he lost two full years to injury. You can’t technically apply for a medical RS until you have run out of actual eligibility so they must have applied for it after the season.

I normally am ready for players to move on just to see the next guys but I agree. He certainly bleeds black and gold. When you consider his medical redshirts and COVID the 2025 season is his last unless the rest of players get a 5th year or he gets hurt again and has to use another medical redshirt.

A lot of people expected him to be limited in 2024 due to injuries but he led the team in tackles and played well enough to be named honorable mention All-SBC. If he is 100% and does not have another injury then it would not shock me if he has a 1st or 2nd team All-SBC type season. Brendan is very smart and loves football. He will play hard. I am guessing he is going to coach when done playing and I can't wait to see because I expect him to be a great coach.

I would normally like to just move on if they have a degree but we need bodies. I am hoping that Loggains signs a few HS players next month and we should be able to sign 20-25 HS players and still bring in 10 or so in portal after the season.

AGREE and he is 100% a true leader on the team!!! This is one football player that has his team and school in his heart. 99% of players with his injuries would have been done with football.
