Finally a voice of reason. Seriously doubt voters are watching this game. Guess Oklahoma drops like a rock. We won’t move up (unless several teams in front lose), but we likely won’t drop, either.

We are doing what winning teams do. Our defense struggled early in the year and the Offense played well. Today the defense played lights out. Another week another 1-0. Finish this off and lets get some Eagles Thursday Night!

Doubt it’s permanent, probably just giving the young man some game time. Could be wrong, though.

A little off, but still a win. We covered the spread, kept everybody healthy and went 1-0 again this week. Easy to be flat in that environment. Defense continues to improve.

Good win. On to the Halloween rivalry.
South Alabama is terrible this season. Which really tells me how bad Nebraska is.

It took Georgia Southern two overtimes to beat South Alabama, not sure why everyone is so worried about them other than the rivalry aspect

I suppose that flat game plan was mostly by design. Hopefully we fire all engines for revenge night on Thursday!

Re: App St. @ USA Game Thread
We have to win by 40 in every game to move the needle at all. 27 is good but not good enough to move the needle for sure.appstatealum wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2019 1:39 pmI don't think we will drop in ranking, but this isn't going to help move the needle with AP voters.
Texas and Michigan are the only losses I could see coming that could help us but if we win the next two games there is no doubt we will be about 18-20.
Once you hit the top 20 it is much tougher to move up. Rankings aren't as fluid for 15-20 teams as they are for 22-35 lol

Re: App St. @ USA Game Thread
They are struggling today as well but with the rivalry you never know. We should beat them by 24 or so but you never know. We could win by 40 or win by 3. We have seen a lot of unpredictable scores in this rivalry.Mikebibbyforthreeeee wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2019 2:10 pmIt took Georgia Southern two overtimes to beat South Alabama, not sure why everyone is so worried about them other than the rivalry aspect

Well we should wait and see how many other teams hold their opponent to 3 pts

Re: App St. @ USA Game Thread
We had 10 penalties for over 100 yards and a pitiful passing game. But we were able to run the ball effectively at times. Still won by 27. On to the creek dwellers

It had to be around 1000, tops.
I did hear that a lot of flights were cancelled though. I'm still shocked that there was less than 1000
