That is true. As I was heading for concessions at about the 10 min mark pre game the usher in the 203/204 section was telling students to turn around unless they had a seat already. I don't know if she was able to remember faces leaving and then returning or what, but she was turning away people. Also I don't know if the ushers were counting heads with a clicker and/or capped the numbers in that section to smaller than years past. Since I was one who had concerns about last night's attendance and have already been labeled as a "Doom and Gloomer", I'll go ahead and point out the obvious; there's absolutely no way there were 25,000 people there. The East side was barely half full and there were large areas of empty seats in the West stands.
The student turnout was fantastic.

There was a lot of things going against this game and I'm pretty proud of the folks that still showed up. I know it was touch and go with most of my party until they finally decided to make it an evening.appgrunt71 wrote:I agree. The 25K number was on the money. My ticket (a real ticket) was scanned at the East Gate.
