Just ordered 3 tickets for Cure, New Orleans , and Camelia. Like many others, can't make the bowl in Mobile.

Re: Bowl Game Info/Tickets
Chattanooga was within driving distance for most of us. These other destinations are not.JTApps1 wrote:It will be our first bowl game so anyone saying they won't go to a certain game due to the city is nuts. It's one thing if someone can't afford the trip, but saying Montgomery doesn't have enough attractions is a lame excuse. How many people went to Chattanooga for the championship games because they city was so fun? I doubt anyone.

Chattanooga driving distance plus the word National Championship Game beside it had to help. As opposed to GoDaddy.com.

I ordered 2 tickets for each of the 4 bowls. I do not know if I will be able to attend any bowl game. But I will purchase two tickets from ASU to support Apps this year and in the future. It does make a difference to purchase your tickets from ASU.

Re: Bowl Game Info/Tickets
FYI, the Belk Bowl is a "Tier 1" tie-in for the ACC - i.e., 3rd-6th pick. The other two you mentioned are lower-tier along with the Quick Lane Bowl.AppDawg wrote:Currently it is looking like the ACC and C-USA will not have enough teams to fill their bowl slots. IF the SBC does have 5 or more bowl eligible teams and we win out, I would look for us to potentially be a fill-in for one of their tie-ins.
Military Bowl, Independence Bowl, gulp! Belk Bowl perhaps potentials as these are all "lower tier" ACC tie-ins, and also where C-USA is a "back-up" conference (Independence).
Personally for me, I am hoping this scenario will play out, as I am unable to make any of the SBC tie-in dates. IF however, we play in a game between Christmas and New Years - the odds significantly increase for me.

Re: Bowl Game Info/Tickets
I went through the standings, and there are 37 P5 teams currently eligible for a bowl, and 5 more with a decent shot at eligibility by end of season. Plus Notre Dame and BYU are independents with eligibility.
ACC:
8 eligible
1 bubble (VaTech 5-5 plays UVa)
Big12:
5 eligible
1 bubble (WVa 5-4 plays Iowa St and K-State)
B1G:
7 eligible
2 bubbles (Indiana 4-6 plays Maryland and Perdue; Illinois 5-5 plays Minn. and Northwestern)
PAC12:
8 eligible
SEC:
9 eligible
1 bubble (Auburn 5-5 plays Idaho)
