I just got off the phone with them and I think the lady was confused by my question on whether or not I'll be double charged. She may have been a student, anyway she was able to email me a receipt of my two preordered tickets and for now I am only charged once. When I hit the pay for tickets button last night I wasn't redirected to receipt screen, just back to the ticket home page, so I'm hoping that means I'm good for the one initial charge.

Went on line and found out that the pre-order tickets were charged today - so I called and ask that the ticket office give them to some students. Probably is easier to do that and make some students happy vs trying to figure how to get a refund.

Merry Christmas to the lucky ASU students that get those.......

OKAY I talked with poor Theresa just now........They won't be allocating tickets UNTIL FRIDAY. What a cluster...All tickets to be sent to the freaking WILL CALL. I told her that is unacceptable..I'm driving in and don't plan to spend tailgating time in a line. I told her I will pick the tickets up in Boone. I've got to go up there anyway Tuesday. Tickets available at Will call from 1-3 at gate 8 on game day and at the Renaissance Hotel on Fridayl.. 7-10,000 people at will call's. I'm about to bust a blood vessel

Regarding the Renaissance, do we know if we can delegate people to pick up for us? I have some friends coming in Friday while I am coming in on Saturday.

The other thing is if they would just ahead and print the dang tickets, standard mail would work fine.

You'd think we could already do that. App scans tickets at games, they should be able to scan a bar code from a phone.

According to DJ on Mountaineer Talk, there will be Will Call in Montgomery at the team hotel on Thursday and Friday, then going to Gate 8 all day Saturday.

In an electronic age this is strange at best. I did finally get an email that I have been charged for my tickets.

Is it confirmed that tickets can be picked up in Boone? I can get my kid to pick mine up if so.

I can see where it's a issue for those driving in on Saturday to have to deal with a Will Call line and that is an unfortunate turn of events, however bear in mind that there are forces out of the App ticket office control. They are constrained within the rules and capabilities of the bowl organizers and may not have been given the option to provide print at home or the facility from Montgomery to snail mail tickets.

I see your frustration and understand it, but bear in mind this is the first time our ticket office has done this, and they have to work within the rules of the bowl itself. Perhaps a bit of patience with the good folks in Boone is prudent.

Hopefully they'll get plenty of chances to improve the process next season and the next and so on and so forth . . . .

Might be of benefit for the Ticket Office folks to get a "Frequently Asked" section posted specifically for the bowl game and on the webpage. Might cut down on folks jamming the phone lines.

Confusing. I was told the tickets would not be in Boone.

I don't care so much about the lack of print-at-home or mail delivery service (though offering one or both would have been nice), but if the only method for delivery is will call, they need to greatly expand hours. I'd think a booth open all afternoon/evening Friday and then from early Saturday on would be necessary.

Just as an FYI all fans need tickets. Called the bowl game to confirm if our 18 month old needed a ticket and they confirmed that he would
