Nobody said anything about losing, aiming low or giving up, but having such an ego that if a kid we offer is stupid for going somewhere else that isn't a BCS conference school is idiotic. The previous staff began failing exactly because they developed a huge ego. They lost the hunger, ambition and humility that keeps you honest. Who said anything about trash talking and braggadocio? I don't think that's how Satt and his staff are playing things out, and I don't believe anyone on the message board is saying that's how we should operate.

I think there's a happy medium in there somewhere.

I swear, some peeps here think App can do no wrong and there's another subset of folks who seem to delight in reveling when things don't go as planned.

On a side note, thanks moose and 78 for the masterful sleuthing. Top-notch stuff dudes.

You are right, only knew them based on what I saw on the field, and it wasn't good. Also, I don't recall any of them being scooped up by the SEC or the like.
