The South Carolina fan base is fixated on one thing - fire the coach, fire the AD. Bitching is all they do. Still mad they can't play with Clemson.
One of their fans in this thread said they can't even rest starters against us and it is a game they can lose.

I hope their players overlook us big time but I don't expect it. They better treat us like a normal SEC opponent for their sake. I hope they do rest their starters though!

I think it is a real sign of what this team has accomplished that only four or five AP voters DON'T have us in their top 25.

You mean 'don't have us in their top 25', right?

I hope their players overlook us big time. Some of their fans won't be they have some delusional fans who will be pissed if they don't beat us by 30.
See my earlier post...@ Tennessee and Vandy next two for SC, if they win both and App victory will get them bowl eligible...the fans may overlook us, but doubt the players will.

I'll guarantee you many players will hear what they coaches say but they won't really take us seriously. They beat Georgia and played close with Florida. They will think we are a win for sure. They won't truly believe what they are told. I have a friend who works there and he told me they are talking about A&M and Clemson being their big games. They feel like if they just show up and don't turn the ball over that they have 3 wins and will at least be 6-6. Their players are 18-21 years old and will believe the hype because 90% of the media will still pick them.

I would be shocked if most don't pick them. I know some will pick us, if we are undefeated, but I expect most to say App makes it close but they can't beat the Gamecocks in Columbia. I think half of them will still expect a blowout. The ACC has not looked good and South Carolina has improved so I would be shocked if we get much respect from the media heading in.

Caught a few minutes of the Raleigh sports radio show this morning. The guys were discussing the G5 NY6 deal, particularly as it pertains to App. Nothing earth shattering came to light but they did mention that ECU plays Cincinnati and SMU. How would that be if the Pirates knocked off both of them? I know, I know, but...

ECU will probably crap a goose egg just to stick it to us

Really thinking Houston will give SMU some problems tonight. I'll take Houston pulling the upset 38-31.

Would love to get some help from Houston, but I have a feeling SMU rolls tonight.

Yep, and Tennessee is curb stomping South Carolina. Back to Texas, looks like SMU is the best program in the state this season. Makes you wonder if the massive # of FBS programs in the state has become too much for even a talent rich HS state like Texas?

How much movement is there typically with rankings for Bye teams? Wondering about Baylor and Cincy.
I’m assuming Oklahoma drops to the teens while Texas falls into the twenties or out all together.
