I've played a bunch. And the one thing that I do understand is that there are teams that are quite talented and others that have talent, but not enough and usually lose. Those losing teams are what we've lost to the last two weeks and have barely won on other occasions. You are the one that apparently knows nothing. You must love to hear yourself talk...App State has a very long history of winning. This didn't happen by accepting losses to "WEAK" teams. Again, we have under performed this season. Many folks on this thread have said the same thing and are not happy with the team's play. Get a pair of glasses so you can read the other comments...Your comments are worthless...!

Beat Ga Southern on Thursday, get a much needed 15 day rest and we will finish strong by winning last two games and either share SBC title or finish 2nd. Lose on Thursday and we may not get to 6 wins. Last two games are over, Thursday is huge. Let's spank Southern and get this season back on track.

I think you are confusing facts with theories. No one is saying that we are great right now, but we certainly don't suck given the circumstances. Facts are that we are playing a ton of new guys. You don't replace veterans with new guys and not expect drop off and inconsistencies. Anyone that thinks that Williams and Herrington should be as good as Moore and Upshaw right out of the gate are dilusional. Anyone that thinks Hannon and Campbell/Greer are just as good as Collins and Colmer needs to stick to their day job, because talent evaluator is not the gig for you. Hennigan has been a great talent but do you think that the trio of Hennigan, Virgil and Williams, is better than Meadors, Adams and Lewis? The bottom line is that while we are playing down to competition and losing games that we probably shouldn't, we are doing this with our second string playing as starters. There are only four day 1 projected starters on offense that have played every game. The othe 7 have been replaced with Freshmen.

I don't understand why it's so important for some to bash the players, coaches, etc. What's gained by that?
By bashing them:
Do we show our players that we support them no matter what? No.
Do we show prospective players (and their families), who are probably reading these posts, that we're behind the team even in a "down year?" No.
Do we build up the confidence of individual players who are called out on this board for penalties, missed tackles, blocks, or turnovers? No.

The old adage: "The beatings will continue until morale improves," comes to mind.
