App State in not too many ways compares to Alabama. They are in an entirely different category than us. However, I did just watch a YouTube video Late Kick with Josh Pate. It was on Alabama the last 2 years. You could easily have substituted App State for Alabama in his commentary and not known the difference. Close games vs opponents. Losing to teams you shouldn't. No identity? How much have you enjoyed watching this team the last couple of years? Are changes coming? For sure Saban is not on the hot seat. Neither is Clark. But both will need to make changes for next season to be relevant.

There is a great deal of truth to this. Every team is the same in that they all have to manage personalities, both coaches and players. And sometimes parents. Outside influences are everywhere these days. All oars have to be rowing in the same direction for the boat to go anywhere smoothly.
