Well I'm telling you guys something else happened in that series that no one is talking about - Moose and I both saw it and discussed it yesterday - On the first play from the "one", Upshaw fumbled the ball and Alex Acey covered it in the end zone - you can see several APP players signaling TD and the ref in the end zone tosses his bean bag that indicates fumble AND THEN, no one mentioned a thing??? - Moose figures the only explanation was that Upshaw was ruled down so that is not reviewable --- It was a fumble and we scored a TD BUT --- ---
ps - not that a fumble at the goal line is a good thing

Yes, saw that as well. I don't know when the fumble occurred so I don't know if he was down, forward progress stopped, etc. But I noticed watching live that Lamb was pointing down at the goal line, then on the replay that one of the linemen was lying on the ball, holding it on the goal line.

I saw that too, but when nothing was called, I just figured Upshaw was down. It's real clear that Acey had the ball and it was OVER the goal line.

Well my real question was why didn't we challenge but I think that Moose was right that if he was ruled down a challenge is not allowed --- anyone know?

If it was ruled down then I believe it can't be challenged.
