David Jackson texted me during the Miami game and said "We need to have an emergency 'Everybody Chill Out' episode of BGP." Pair that with reading a disturbing amount of horrible "Hot Takes" about the Mountaineer football team, Big C and I turned on the BGP Bat Signal. That's right! We got DJ and Brownie to revive the 5th Quarter Show days in a new "Sixth Quarter Sunday Show!" (Credit Big C for the name!)
Yes, we played badly vs. Miami. Poor tackling, poor execution and big Miami plays.
Yes, everyone wanted that game to be more competitive. Most anticipated game in KBS history.
NO!!! We do NOT suck and we are NOT in trouble! I'm ashamed that there's a thread on MMB right now entitled "We Suck".
Let's all take a deep breath and listen to the smooth sounds of David Jackson and Steve Brown break down Miami and remind us all why it's Great To BE A MOUNTAINEER!

Amen and Amen!! I didn't even qualify that thread by even reading it. The first one was obviously from someone who has limited knowledge of the game. Thank you for getting DJ and Juice involved to set the record straight.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

The "we suck" talk almost always comes from two camps: the drunks and the bandwagoners. We definitely need to get some perspective.

Great show. They really help put the state of the program in perspective.
That said, they discussed something that is likely to be a real problem over the next couple of weeks, the limitations we have at QB and WR as these young WRs grow. Arkon and GA St. are going to score points, we are going to need two if not three WRs to separate themselves from the group.
