Greensboro News and Record

Unread post by McLeansvilleAppFan » Sun Sep 18, 2016 7:35 pm

If you subscribe to the Greensboro paper (or not) could you send Ed Hardin a short email thanking him for the App coverage. Sunday's sports section front page had two color photos, one of which was large, of the App game. Ed's commentary also on the sports section front page was about Boone and the game.

I thanked him for the better coverage than App received from the G N&R over years past, even if it has been the wire from the W- S Journal. That is good enough for me in this age of print media.

He replied back with a thanks and commented on Brent moving over to Greensboro.

Basically let Ed know it is in the G N&R interest for them to give App coverage.

Email is ed.hardin@greensboro.com

Two other people in the News & Record hierarchy who might appreciate feedback are Managing Editor Steven Doyle and Sports Editor Eddie Wooten.

Their email addresses are Steven.Doyle@greensboro.com and Eddie.Wooten@greensboro.com.

I got a response form Eddie within 30 seconds of sending him an email a few minutes ago. It can't hurt to let them know we like the App State coverage.
