Attendance
Official attendance was announced at 35,658(?)
Didn't attend, but watching of TV crowd seemed much larger once everyone filed in. I was in attendance at previous record game Elon(34,000)? And today's crowd looked way more than the 1,600 difference. Thoughts?

Re: Attendance
34,685 was the official max occupancy per the fire marshall. so that is what was reported for attendance. there may have been more, but couldn't really report without a fine, i guess

That looked about right, but it looked like hundreds left before half time judging by the amount of aluminum showing.mountaineerman wrote:Announced crowd today was 34685 Elon game

Re: Attendance
KBS handled the extra 3,000 people better than I expected (from a fan experience perspective).
Let's do it again.
My only suggestion is if we could do something about the concession lines affecting foot traffic under the West side.
Surely a bank type Queue rail (or just a rope) would take care of that.

I'll bet we equal it for Wake Forest. Can't wait.TurfMonkey wrote:KBS handled the extra 3,000 people better than I expected (from a fan experience perspective).

Re: Attendance
They could have fit a lot more into the end zone also. The extra portajohns helped also. First time I didn't have to wait and the concessions weren't terrible.

I guess they were concerned about egress in case of an emergency.ukappfan wrote:They could have fit a lot more into the end zone also. The extra portajohns helped also. First time I didn't have to wait and the concessions weren't terrible.

The end of the first qtr went to the concessions - waited in line, got to window - out of hot dogs! How can you be out of hot dogs in the 1st qtr of the largest home game in school history? Went to second concessions stand, stood in line - got hot dogs, out of water! How can you be out of water 1st qtr of the largest home game in school history?
Hope we break the attendance record again soon, and be better prepared for the crowd.

I am sorry, that I started a new thread....
We did an awesome job of gauging how many people to sell tickets too and exactly estimated the number of students that would decide to come....
So The actual attendance was????
