Need Help Signing Into ESPN3

Unread post by MDaniels84 » Wed Sep 21, 2016 1:02 pm

I know that this may have been an issue for someone else on here in the past, but I can't find (read I'm too lazy) the thread regarding such. I was trying to get a game on ESPN 3 through my Watch ESPN App on my Roku over the weekend and I keep getting a message stating "0066" error message , no account returned from UPDA.
Now, before you ask, I have ATT internet , use a roku for ESPN Watch app in order to access ESPN3 , and have Directv. I have heard that I need to reauthenticate my credentials (whatever in the hell that means). If I need to sign out of something and sign back in, I kind of get it. However, do I need to sign out of ROKU and sign back in or sign out of ATT internet and sign back in. Thanks a bunch for any assistance.
Hopeful that I can get this resolved before 3:30pm on Saturday so that I can watch APP and Akron.

I think it's asking for your directtv credentials/account. That should be where your ESPN3 subscription is coming from.

http://www.rokuguide.com/articles/how-t ... pn-on-roku

That link has a guide on what to do, but here is the short of it.

If you go to the bottom row of icons in the app go to Help and Settings and there will be an Activate Live TV, this will bring up a code.
Go to http://es.pn/roku on your computer and select your provider and input the code from the roku. Then log in to you provider to authenticate. The app should auto update and be good.
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

I deleted ESPN3 from my Roku and then went back and added it. I was then able to sign in using my Directv account. There is probably a better way but it worked for me.

Followed this and it totally worked appgrouch. Thanks a bunch.
