I knew it was a long shot, but I believe that this team is capable of more than we have seen this year. We've seen glimpses at times. I think they stepped up and played an outstanding game on both sides of the ball. The D struggled early, but adjusted and palyed lights out when it mattered.
Jackson, Price, Sanders, Kimbrough....the entire receiving corps....they all played outstanding games.

I said this team would step and and play a great game....and they did. Didn't expect the win but this time give so credit to the coaches for making some good adjustments on defense for the 2nd half. Looked like a different team and our tackles rocked in the second half.

Awesome win. The D really stepped up in the second half and the offense did enought to close the deal.

Way to go APPS!!!!! Great game, especially Burns at NG and the receiving corp.

When a man or a team is down and backed in a corner, when a man or a team ain't got nothing to lose, is injured, tossed about, and doom is on the horizon - now that man becomes a dangerous man and that team becomes most difficult to deal with. The annals of sports are full of such events.

Our team grew alot today with this hard-fought gut-it-out win. If we can take care of business next week we may get two weeks off with a first round bye. Things are lining up for a playoff run!

Great job Apps!! We never gave up. I've been waiting all year for us to play both Burns and Bronson at the same time to slow down the run up the middle. We made this adjustment in the second half and we became a different team defensively. We also stuck with the passing game on offense since GSU is very tough against the run. We can run but not against the elite rushing defenses such as GSU. Great execution by the Apps and good gameplan and adjustments today by our coaching staff. I'm glad my son was down there to see it. It's great to be a Mountaineer!!
