Sadly, even last year, IF we had beaten Ark State and had gone on to win out as we did and the bowl game, I don't think we would have cracked Top 25.

We were already closing in on the top 25 before that stAte game last year. If we'd won it, we'd almost certainly have been ranked well before the end of the regular season. Probably would have ended up around 20 in that case.

None of which means much for this year. I'd LOVE to crack the rankings but I think we'll have to win out including the bowl to have any shot. Will help if Troy keeps winning until our game.

Win out and we will definitely finish the year in the top 25. Go Apps!

With only one loss to Clemson, it is likely App could have made the vote. Win out this year and it's also possible, even with the loss to Miami. (Which the more and more I see this defense play the more I believe that game was hindered by mental errors rather than ability)

I'd like to think so, but the G5 gets no love.

App must win out to crack the top 25 and we'll probably also need some help from teams currently ahead of the Mountaineers. I'd say the best case scenario to crack the top 25 is for App to win out, have #20 WMU remain undefeated, win the MAC and not get the Access bid and then have App beat the Broncos in the Dollar General.

30 might be a wee bit high IMO, but hey, Ill take it . . .
