2015 Camellia Bowl
We won the 2015 Camellia Bowl. I would like to see some type of recognition in KBS connected to this whether it is a sign, banner, or whatever. I believe we still fly FCS national championship flags in the stadium so why not? It would be cool to have a place that would be very visible with room to add future bowl wins. Show the pride.

Re: 2015 Camellia Bowl
Agree, I was thinking about that during the Texas State game. I don't think every bowl win warrants a banner, but maybe something either on the walls down at field level or on the front of the upper deck?
Also, I'm undecided on whether we should do something like this now or wait until we have a few bowl wins (hopefully not many years from now) and put whatever recognition we're doing up as a group. Might look a little sparse with just one bowl game to honor.

Could always add a flag to go with the 3 FCS NC flags at the stadium until we get enough to display another way.

Could also make room for a few on the new scoreboard as a start. Or on Owens.

I agree. Why not place the FCS NC flags on one pole and bowl game flags on the other?SpeedkingATL wrote:Could always add a flag to go with the 3 FCS NC flags at the stadium until we get enough to display another way.

Something like this would be nice. Something like the signs in the stadium at Chattanooga with the past FCS national championship winners would maybe work also. Anyone happen to have a picture of those to post?

I might be of the minority here but I'm fine with them being displayed in Sofield. If we start putting a banner of some sort up for every championship and bowl game win in the stadium it just reminds me of my high school gym and cluttered banners everywhere.
Retired numbers, yes all for that to be displayed in Kidd Brewer.

Nope. Anytime we get a ring, a banner should accompany it.

Sorry to disagree with a few but we win, we recognize! Too cluttered? Ask Duke fans if they like all those banners in Cameron indoor? Tradition comes with a winning program and I don't give a rats ass how many flag poles we need to fly every flag possible...image is everything and recruits love tradition...it means, "winners!"

Re: 2015 Camellia Bowl
I'd be curious to know how many programs in the country, if any, fly a banner for every bowl game they've ever won. I don't think I've ever seen that.

Re: 2015 Camellia Bowl
I agree there should be something in the stadium for bowl wins and conference championships. If others don't fly anything for bowl wins then that's better for us if we do...a differentiator from other programs. I would think players would love coming back to the stadium after their playing days and pointing to a bowl or conference championship flag or banner and telling their kids...hey there's my 2015 Camellia Bowl banner!
