Nearly flipped out before game today as wife and I go to grocery store in Boone and cashier ask what we are doing today?....and we reply well we are going to game.....she says what kind of game?.....I'm like well the football game.....head really spinning at this point and then she says well I am graduating, this is my final semester and have never been to an ASU football game....I get it some people don't like football and that's fine but that situation blew my mind...she even ask who are teams that are playing....and we had our App attire on.....still scratching my head.

There were very few 0:00 fans today. I was grateful for each fan who was able to stay to the end to support our team. I certainly understand those who just can't manage the windy kind of cold we had today. Thanks to everyone who made it up the mountain for the game.

We complain about people staying in the stadium, and then I turn on the Texas State/ New Mexico State and was taken back as there was literally nobody at that game, and that the only sounds you heard were the cheerleaders doing their chants, which were echoing off the empty grandstands.

So remember, it could be worse...and if you live in Las Cruces, MUCH MUCH worse.

Wife and I stayed whole game today......who said it was cold?.......felt like I was in my living room thanks to heat packs and having common sense how to dress..... GREAT game today.....thanks to all the seniors and again congrats to Marcus breaking rushing record with long scamper for TD as well as Taylor surpassing Richie Williams TD passing records......The two headed beast of Cox & Moore in the backfield at the same time with Lamb was sweet to watch plus a little bit of snow........I SAY ITS GREAT TO BE A MOUNTAINEER!

Side note band performance was great too.

Especially liked the bands tribute to Mr. Yosef.

Gerald will be missed.

Also, those that left early missed the on field recognition of the MMBs very own BeerHatGuy!!!!

Congrats on the recognition. Much deserved and appreciated!

Good job BHG, way to paint the GA. Know you're not in it for the recognition, but it was good to see you recognized

The ESPN3 announcers did not mention Gerald playing football at ASU in the 1950's when they talked about his contributions to ASU.

I unfortunately could not make the trip. Seems it was convenient for our boy's basketball team to schedule a scrimmage on college football Saturday! That's as bad as planning a wedding on college football weekends. That being said, I watched a little of WCU vs. USC and at the beginning of the 4th quarter Willy Brice was less than half full and the score was only 3-17. Fan and student exits are affecting even SEC schools.

I stayed until the bitter cold end as well, then drove back to Columbia where it is warm!

I was not going to miss 14 breaking 28's record.
I saw 28 break 23's record, and saw 23 break whoever's record. Had to keep to tradition!

My two sons and I were there until the end... Would not miss Cox breaking the record for anything! Only thing that was cold on me yesterday were my feet!

This season has gone by so fast. Hard to believe no more football at Kidd Brewer until next year.

I know a dude who went to Ohio State and never went to one game in 4 years he was there. Strange and bizarre.

We left early for the first time this season and one of only a few times in my life. It was just too cold and windy. I still have wind burn on my face.

I did feel shame as I walked out.

I sit in row GGG on the west side in the gold seats. Yesterday, for the first time since I've made the trek up to my seats, the green jacket guy had the gate gizmo closed. As each of the regular folks came up the steps, opened the gate, and took his / her seat, green jacket guy would come trotting over and ask to see our tickets. He even asked folks multiple times.

I found it rather amusing that he would be so diligent on a game that wasn't anywhere close to a packed house.

The two young alumni who joined me for yesterday's fun and frivolity stayed with me until the very end. We got a good chuckle out of yelling toward the end of the game and wondering if anyone could even hear us. It was an honor, after telling them at the beginning of the game who BHG is and all he does, to see him recognized on field for his efforts.

Congrats to Cox and Lamb. But I've got to give some props to my wife. She hung in there with me to the "bitter" end.

It wasn't so much the cold as it was the wind for me.

Wonder where this ranks on all-time coldest home game temps?

Maybe instead of griping about us students leaving early (which is annoying, I stay until the clock hits 00:00 every game and then run up to the locker room door to cheer the players) you alumni could focus on actually showing up to the game in the first place and not leaving 50% of the stadium empty...

Thanks to Rebecca and all the students for sticking it out through a cold, blustery game. You are our future, we need you to carry the legendary spirit of the Rock forward.
