So from the one tweet I saw it looks like we got fined $5k and publicly reprimanded because Chris Foster sent over 400 impermissible texts to a recruit. Looks like we now know why he was given his walking papers.

If there is a silver lining, at least we won't have to take crap for this from our friends at Georgia Southern.

Handle it quickly and honestly.....only way to fly.

Not happy that any violation happened, but very happy that we seem to have handled it quickly and openly. Also happy that the coach in question is no longer with us.

Not actually to a recruit, but to the parent of a recruit. Makes one wonder if the texts were necessarily recruiting-related.

With this texting scandal in the public now, I'm thankful Anthony Weiner wasn't on the coaching staff...
