Injury Report
Anyone got an update on Middleton or any other guys we might could get back if we beat Furman and have a 3 week layoff?

Re: Injury Report
I think Doug is getting a "medical" redshirt. Hoping to get Acey back. Sounds like Grier may play Saturday.

Re: Injury Report
Unless Grier is 100%, there is no need to rush him back and I think he should see limited play. Give him the start for Senior Day and let him see between 25-50% of the snaps on D in the first half and then sit him. Recording 3 straight 10 TKL games, Anderson has stepped in nicely for BG and adding more experience onto KA's resume can only be a good thing.

Re: Injury Report
Would rather start everyone we can and hope to get a good lead and sit them after, winning could get us 3 weeks to recover, losing could put us out of the playoffs.

Re: Injury Report
FWIW, hopefully precautionary, Tony Washington was seen wearing a boot yesterday on his left ankle.

He looked fine jumping over those helpless Eagle defenders in the end zone!bigCasu wrote:FWIW, hopefully precautionary, Tony Washington was seen wearing a boot yesterday on his left ankle.
Let's hope it is just a precaution. Not sure about the details but heard that he gave up kick return duties because he has been a little banged up.
A potential 3-week break would worry me as well but with Jamal, Washington and Grier all ailing, it could do wonders for our health.

Re: Injury Report
I share in the "time off" building rust sentiment and then I think back to the first game of the year where the guys had been off for months. While ASU didn't post a lot of points against ECU, I thought they played good football for 3 quarters and outside of a couple of plays, the ECU game was a solid performance for the team.
My wish list for the next few weeks before the playoffs:
*Getting players healthy
*Getting back to fundamentals
*Doing a little midseason recruiting
*Installing a few new plays/schemes

Re: Injury Report
I wondered why Tony Washington wasn't returning kicks as he has been fantastic on both punt and kickoff returns. If Sumner's knee gets better if he would get consideration to return kicks? Haven't seen a recent injury update on him.asumike83 wrote:He looked fine jumping over those helpless Eagle defenders in the end zone!bigCasu wrote:FWIW, hopefully precautionary, Tony Washington was seen wearing a boot yesterday on his left ankle.
