I guess you had to put Troy ahead of us since they beat us head to head but it bothers me a little...we've played a tougher schedule and one of their wins was an FCS team, right? I feel like we're more like tied...enjoy your analysis each week though.

Yeah, could have put us tied, but I try to rank teams whenever possible. One of their wins was FCS but they also have one fewer loss than us. Six of one, half-dozen of the other.

Update for anyone interested in the NY6 race: In the new CFP rankings, Western Michigan is #17, while Navy moved all the way up to #19. If I were a WMU fan, I'd be getting nervous.

Yeah, I don't disagree...it just annoys me a little. If Troy loses in Statesboro this week, then I assume you'd put us ahead of them despite the head to head loss? It was a close loss at least.

Certainly. Not doing rankings next week, but no way Troy would stay in the top 10 if they lose that one.
