Apparently if you can't beat an OOC opponent in regular season, or in a bowl game, this selective memory thing starts to influence your reality.

That really is amazing. Not one mention of us or the fact that the title is shared. We both have next Saturday open. Let's play!

SCREW EM'! They are becoming the rival. Let them have their moment. Did they win the conference in their 2nd year?

Really not concerned about how they choose to remember their 2016 season, I know I'd be trying to forget nearly half of it if I were them.

Saint: I saw that you asked about hotels for the Cure Bowl on the Sun Belt board. One thing that Orlando has in abundance are hotel rooms. The Citrus Bowl is in the hood behind Amway Arena. Parking is pretty safe and close to the stadium. The closest hotels are going to be downtown. If you are thinking of staying closer to the attractions then they are about 5 or so miles away. Traffic in Orlando sucks 24/7. Especially on I4.

We booked a room at SpringHill Suites in Altamonte Springs about 10 miles from Citrus Bowl for less than $200 for 2 nights and it has a really good rating.

Thanks 94, we'd like to stay near the App festivities Friday and Saturday nights (anyone have insight?), before heading to Disney with the kids for a couple days.

I still think we're headed back to Camellia just trying to prep.

Do you have a preference in hotel brand?

As much as I don't like Arky State I am really glad that we are developing a new rivalry other than just GaSo

Well, it's hard to have a rival you don't play.

I don't think we play StAte next year either.

However, IIRC, Coastal Carolina is starting Sunbelt play next season (I think we will play them). I seriously doubt Coastal will be challenging for Sunbelt champion any time soon. But, based on their baseball win, they are serious about their sporting teams down there.

I like them as a new rival, based on one very important factor. .... Local restaurants. Coastal is near enough to Myrtle Beach to mean that there are many great local restaurants to choose from. So, it will make a great road trip for this App fan. Not sure if they are home or away next year for us. But when we play them down there, I expect there may be more App fans than Coastal fans down there.
