thanks to marty hampton...he took this not knowing me(he probably wishes he didn't know me now) and then somehow on the message board he told me he had it. this was from the michigan game just before kick off. not thinking we were going to win, i thought i'd cheer up our fans by showing this from time to time. the early morning bloody marys and jack daniels allowed me to freely put magic marker to paper and share my truest feelings. and as they say, the rest is history.

I remember seeing that sign at the Michigan game, and I LMAO. I made one just like that when we played in our first championship game. Some woman walked by and said, "Furman is not even in the game." I said, "I know, but they still suck."

My daughter's (now 17) first four words: moon, ball, Furman Sucks.

I remembering the 2006 game where someone hung a "I smell Vurmin" sign from the trees. Then during halftime, two people stole it and ran it onto the track before getting tackled.

I, too, remember that from the Meechegan game. Middle first quarter, some guy runs around with the sign. Funny story we still tell today

One of the assistant DAs in Davidson County went to Furman. I call her "FU" and told her yesterday Furman SUCKS!!!! She has bragging rights until Saturday at 6pm.
