This is a quick clip that shows a little of what goes into the planning of a flyover.

Thanks for posting these. Those were great flyovers yesterday. The last one we had with the Coast Guard helo was great too, but Citadel beat us that day, very glad it didn't happen yesterday with FUrman. Thanks for your service and Happy Veteran's Day.

great vids! now...i live on the backside of howards knob up top...and they have run that exact flyover directly over my house at night, very low...going north to south and it shakes my house...im not kidding...i would have loved seeing that from my deck and looking upward but my seats at kbs did me just fine!

Having grown up in Fayetteville in a house that was on a direct landing pattern on Simmons Army Airfield, we would get a flyover every day from all kinds of aircraft. With that said, the flyovers at Kiddbrewer are so special. It reminds me of how lucky we all are living in a country that allows us to get together and watch a great sport in God's Country. Thank you to all our Veterans who have given up so much to allow me to travel to Boone and enjoy the team that I love.

Also, thank you to my dad who recently passed, a Veteran of Korea and Vietnam.

KB, where did you live? I grew up in College Lakes and was also in the flight path of Simmons. Buzzed the pine trees in the backyard.

The C-130 flew right over my house at a low level. My wife said what is that and I said it looks like a military cargo plane. About an hour later I was watching the game on goasutv and saw the flyover and put 2 and 2 together. Had to be the same plane. Really cool.

College Lakes here too. I grew up on Carteret, right off of Chesapeake.

How about you?

Hidden Valley Place. When were you there? Did you go to Pine Forest?

I did the planning and worked the Coast Guard flyover from the ground as well. Had we lost to Furman after another flyover, I don't think we'd ever have one again since everyone would think they're bad luck!

I do believe I know you, I was over on Southport. Did you ever share a ride home around a holiday?

Possibly, I've brought people back, but I don't recall dropping anyone off on Southport. But my brain typically doesn't recall stuff like that. I think the closest to Southport I dropped anyone off was on Hewitt. A brother of a friend of mine named Wayne Archer.

I wish they would go back to the parachute drops. Cobb dropped them because of cost.
