Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. Who will wear #14 for the 2017 season?

Whoever it is, my bet is he will be special.

Not a fan of retiring any jerseys. I would rather schools recognize player names and the years they played in stadiums. I want players to give their all for the school and honor the GOATs that wore the same number before them.

Not going to lie...I was upset when the number wasn't retired after AE wore it, but when Marcus Cox came along and put up big numbers I switched to more of the mentality of Appstate88. Not sure who will wear it, but one tradition I hope stays forever is not allowing anybody to wear the number 1.

It's interesting how the term "Goat" in sports circles has completely changed in the last decade. It used to mean someone who made a boneheaded mistake that cost his/her team the game or season.

It'll be interesting to see who will be wearing the 14 next season. Maybe it'll get a season or two break.

Zac Thomas, RS FR QB did. Wore #12 in 2016. Will be interesting to see who, if anyone, takes #14 in 2017.

Think we should use it as a legacy number, like Michigan or Montana. Always thought those were really neat.

We need a Wall of Fame and put players names there. Player gets the honor and you don't worry about retiring jerseys
