Woff and GSU
Both of their games are on Gameplan today.
Curious to tune in and see how they hold up against SEC teams.
Which team has a better showing? I'm thinking GSU

Re: Woff and GSU
For selfish reasons, I would like to see GS really get beat down. They are 2 spots ahead of us in the polls, if they get killed, it would probably drop them behind us, that might be the edge we need if we end up in their bracket for that second round home game. I feel much more comfortable GS coming to Boone, than us heading to "the stink".

The local ABC affiliate is showing the UGA/GS game today here in Atlanta. I just can't bring myself to pull for GS so I am hoping for a big beat down too.

Re: Woff and GSU
Both the puppies and stink will get the beat down today IMO. I wish I could watch. Cantamounts will get killed by Bama's 4th-5th stringers.
I think Samford at Kentucky will be the SOCON's best chance for an upset today at SEC. Kentucky is down this year (again) and Sammy is jsut a few plays from being a contender this year.

Re: Woff and GSU
My father and most of my extended family graduated from Georgia, so I will enjoy watching the Dawgs pound the Eagles today. Georgia is hitting their stride and finally looking like a top 10 BCS team. GSU has some good athletes, but they have no shot at "out athleting" Georgia. I expect GSU will TRY to throw the ball more than they have normally, but their heavy run orientation makes this game a serious mis-match. I think GSU has a very good team and can play with anybody in the FCS, but this one will get ugly fast....and I'll enjoy it.

For the record, I think App matches up much better against Georgia for our game next year simply because of our ability to attack with a huge variety of weapons and "take what's given." Georgia's running game scares me though. Gurley is a downright STUD ar tailback and he's only a freshmen. If we can slow him down, we are on our way next year!

Re: Woff and GSU
So far my prediction is wrong. Georgia is playing sloppy and letting Southern hang around. GSU is playing pretty well on offense though. There's a lot of football left though.

Speaking of Georgia Southern, I think this may hurt a little...

Re: Woff and GSU
alot of GS fans are crying again about how a "blown call" cost them the game against Georgia. They get thrashed all up and down the field, games pretty much over 4 minutes in the 3rd quater, but yet, they had Georga "right where they wanted them" before that call.
